The Data Management team plays a central role in enabling this ambition by providing reliable data, actionable insights and analytical support to all business units.

Job summary

The Audience Data Engineer is responsible for transforming raw data available in the data warehouse into enriched, business-ready audience and customer datasets.

The role focuses on audience enrichment, CRM enhancement, identity resolution, data matching, lookalike modelling and integration of external enrichment sources. The Audience Data Engineer develops reusable data assets that enable Data Analysts and business stakeholders to generate insights, reporting and audience activation initiatives.

Main responsibilities

Audience & Customer Data Enrichment

• Design and maintain audience enrichment processes.
• Integrate and manage external enrichment sources.
• Evaluate and implement data partnerships that enhance customer and audience knowledge.
• Improve customer profile completeness and quality.
• Develop scalable enrichment methodologies using internal and external data assets.

 Identity Resolution & Data Matching

• Develop matching algorithms to consolidate customer identities across platforms and systems.
• Improve audience recognition across digital properties.
• Implement identity resolution processes to strengthen first-party audience understanding.
• Ensure audience profiles remain accurate, consistent and usable.

 Lookalike Modelling & Audience Expansion

• Develop lookalike models to expand audience knowledge and prospect identification.
• Apply statistical and machine-learning techniques to improve customer profile coverage.
• Support the identification of new audience opportunities through enriched datasets.

 BigQuery Development & Data Products

• Design, develop and maintain business-ready datasets within Google BigQuery.
• Create reusable tables, views and data structures for consumption by Data Analysts.
• Optimise data models to improve performance, scalability and usability.
• Maintain documentation and data lineage for developed datasets.
• Ensure data quality and reliability across enrichment processes.

 CRM Data Enhancement

• Improve CRM data quality through enrichment and matching initiatives.
• Support customer data activation initiatives by preparing enriched datasets.
• Collaborate with CRM, marketing and commercial stakeholders on audience data requirements.
