Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an organised and technically qualified individual to join our team as an IT Support and Digital Workplace Specialist.

Your main missions will be: 

• Ensure the operational maintenance of systems, networks, and data processing.
• Contribute to first-level incident resolution and user support.
• Address incidents encountered by journalists and audiovisual professionals.
• Install and configure computer workstations, network equipment, peripherals, and audiovisual solutions.
• Provide hardware and software support for all users.
• Update and configure operating systems and user environment software.
• Administer VPN access and manage antivirus software.
• Manage multifunction photocopiers and meeting room reservations.
• Handle network cabling: connection, modification, maintenance, and diagnostics under the supervision of the network manager based in Lyon, France.
• Document and apply IT procedures and operational methods.
• Enforce IT security policies and raise user awareness of best practices.
• Establish initial diagnostics and track reported incidents.
• Ensure compliance with hardware and software maintenance contracts.
• Manage inventory of IT equipment, licenses, and consumables.
• Participate in technical working groups within the IT department and collaborate with IT teams at other sites.
• Provide support during specific company events.

Required Profile:

• The type of educational qualifications is not a prerequisite for this position. We are looking for a motivated individual with relevant experience and good skills in the field.
• Proficiency in English (C1/C2 level); knowledge of French or Dutch would be an asset.
• In-depth understanding of workstation hardware architecture.
• Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of computer networks and their administration.
• Experience in managing hardware and software architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud and Intune environments.
• Experience with remote support tools and automated deployment solutions.
• Ability to apply IT security rules.
• Customer service orientation and ability to understand and respond to user needs.
• Rigour and organisation in managing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit.
• Adaptability to technological changes.

Additional Information:

• Start Date: 15 March 2025
• Location: Brussels
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Working Hours: A rotational system between two individuals will be organised, covering hours from 8 am to 7 pm, with occasional weekend work.
