Head of America Distribution - (F/H/X)

Overall mission

Reporting directly to the Chief Growth & Innovation Officer, the Head of Americas Distribution is responsible for driving Euronews’ commercial development, partnerships, and revenue growth across the Americas (Canada, USA, Central America, and Latin America).

The role combines strategic leadership and hands-on execution across Pay TV, OTT/CTV, digital platforms, and content syndication. The successful candidate will act as Euronews’ senior representative in the region, managing key client relationships, developing new revenue streams, and strengthening market presence.

Main responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

• Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy across the Americas
• Drive new revenue generation across Pay TV, OTT/CTV, FAST platforms, and digital aggregators
• Identify and close new distribution, content licensing, and monetization deals
• Expand Euronews’ footprint across telcos, broadcasters, OEMs, and digital platforms
• Maintain and grow existing revenue streams
• Develop and execute a territory commercial strategy with annual revenue targets, market prioritization, and a new business pipeline.

 

Account Management & Partnerships

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Euronews' key distribution and platform clients across the Americas, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Managing the LATAM regional agent operating for and on behalf of Euronews onsite.
• Manage high-level relationships with broadcasters, platforms, and partners
• Oversee contract renewals, negotiations, and commercial performance
• Ensure alignment between Euronews HQ and regional partners

Market Expansion & Strategy

• Lead expansion in streaming and connected TV ecosystems. Work over transit legacy players onto ad-supported business models.
• Develop Euronews’ presence on digital aggregators and content platforms
• Identify new monetization models and market opportunities
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry evolution

Representation & Visibility

• Represent Euronews at major industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
• Lead regional marketing and promotional initiatives in coordination with HQ
• Represent Euronews at trade shows, screenings, and client events. Acting as a brand ambassador who can speak to both editorial credibility and commercial opportunity.

 

Reporting & Market Intelligence

• Provide structured commercial reporting to the CGIO: quarterly business reviews, pipeline reporting, deal status, and revenue forecasting
• Monitor the media distribution and streaming landscape in the Americas — key competitors, platform developments, M&A activity, audience trends — and provide regular market intelligence to HQ.
• Flag risks and opportunities in the territory on a proactive basis, with proposed action plans.

Profile

Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years in media distribution, content sales, or broadcast business development, with a strong focus on the Americas markets.
• Strong experience & network in the Americas market
• Proven track record of managing and growing distribution partnerships across Pay TV, OTT/streaming, and digital platforms.
• Prior experience handling LATAM distribution accounts is strongly preferred — candidates with existing LATAM operator or platform relationships will be prioritized.

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills : clear, persuasive, and confident in presentations, pitches, and client negotiations.

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment

Languages

• Fluent English (mandatory)
• Spanish strongly preferred
• Another language a plus

Location

• Miami or US East Coast preferred. Other locations can be discussed as well.
• Travel across the Americas and to Europe may happen

Travel : When needed across territory + occasional European HQ travel
