The Data Management team plays a central role in enabling this ambition by providing reliable data, actionable insights and analytical support to all business units.

Job summary

The Data Analyst – Editorial supports Euronews’ editorial Teams worldwide by delivering daily and weekly editorial analytics, audience insights and competitive analysis.

The role helps editorial teams better understand content performance, audience behaviour and trends, enabling informed editorial decision‑making across platforms.

Main responsibilities

Editorial performance analytics

• Produce daily and weekly editorial performance reports.
• Monitor key editorial KPIs across platforms (web, app, video, social).
• Analyse content consumption and engagement trends.

Trends & audience insights

• Identify emerging editorial trends and audience behaviours.
• Provide clear, actionable insights to support editorial planning and prioritisation.
• Translate complex data into understandable insights for editorial stakeholders.

Competition monitoring

• Monitor competitors’ editorial performance and positioning.
• Benchmark Euronews content against market and competitor trends.
• Share competitive insights with editorial teams and management.

Editorial support & data quality

• Support editorial teams with ad hoc analyses and data requests.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of editorial data.
• Contribute to building a strong data‑driven culture within editorial teams.

Required qualification and skills:

• Strong analytical skills with an interest in news, journalism and media.
• Ability to clearly communicate insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with digital analytics or content performance data.
• Experience in a newsroom, editorial or media environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with BI and data visualisation tools.
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Ability to speak French
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, GCP
