- Ensure excellence in digital video storytelling, guiding the production of short, vertical videos optimized for mobile and social platforms.
- Supervise the creation of the Euro-poll, ensuring questions are timely, engaging, and relevant to the weekly topic, and integrate poll results into editorial outputs.
- Edit and contribute to the weekly newsletter, providing editorial context and insight on the chosen topic.
- Collaborate with Euronews’ Product and AI teams to feed, curate, and refine content for the AI-based Answer Machine, ensuring accuracy, tone, and audience value.
- Guide journalists in translating technical or legislative topics into compelling, accessible narratives.
- Shape and enforce digital storytelling standards, ensuring effective use of multimedia formats — text, video, data visualization (Flourish), and interactive graphics.
- Apply SEO and social optimization strategies to maximize reach and discoverability.
- Use analytics and audience feedback to refine editorial formats and engagement.
- Mentor and inspire the team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and journalistic excellence.
